OUR MISSION

Our mission is to empower the next generation of leaders in clinical and academic addiction medicine. Through rigorous training and mentorship, fellows will be fully prepared to take the Addiction Medicine certification exam offered by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Our program fosters not only clinical excellence but also scholarly growth, encouraging fellows to pursue impactful careers in healthcare leadership, research, teaching, or specialized practice.

At Baptist Memorial Hospital, our vision is to improve the quality of evidence-based SUD care across the Midsouth. Our fellows actively contribute to educating future medical professionals and community clinicians while providing compassionate, patient-centered care. They also engage in meaningful scholarship and research, improving outcomes for diverse populations impacted by social determinants of health.
